SellmyCell is a New Zealand owned and operated mobile phone recycling service. We pay cash for unwanted devices, then refurbish and find them new homes, extending their useful life. Any unusable parts are sustainably recycled. Our mission is to provide the best value and a green, easy service for disposing of your mobile phone.
It’s super simple – find your phone model using the search field above, or by browsing the Sell My Phone page. Once selected, let us know a few further details about your phone (capacity, network and condition) and we’ll make you an offer on the spot.
If happy with the offer, place an order and we’ll send out a postage pack that you can use to send the phone back to us – either arrange free collection online or via phone, or drop the parcel at your handiest NZ Post branch.
We’ll have payment in your account within 1-3 days of you sending it. The post is an overnight service, and it takes us a further 24 hours to test the phone and process payment.
We are constantly monitoring the market to determine an accurate market value for your device and strive to offer the best prices in New Zealand. The idea is that you get very close to what you would on an auction site, and save a lot of time and hassle in the process. Contact us here if you think the price offered for your phone is unreasonable.
You will receive payment within 1-3 working days. It takes 1-2 days for your phone to reach us and a further 24 hours for us to inspect your phone and process the payment. You will receive a confirmation email from us once the payment has been made.
